How To Say That Name
If you’re like me and you work in an industry where many of the big players are large foreign corporations, then http://www.howtosaythatname.com is a website that you should really take a look at.
I’ve used it several times in a pinch (read: minutes before a first meeting) and it’s allowed me to avoid an otherwise awkward moment during introductions. In fact, it could score you some bonus points with the boss.
Flash Chess III
I used to be a big Chessmaster fan, so Flash Chess III is right up my alley. I’m not a huge chess nerd like some but I do like the game and this is an exceptionally well down web version. Check it out here.
Notify Me When It’s Up
There’s a website called Notify Me When It’s Up. It basically lets you set up an email reminder if a website is down that will let you know when the site’s web server is back up and running. Very cool concept. Very simple interface.
Worker Dies at Wal-Mart During Black Friday Rush
I’m going to hell for thinking that this is funny.
Seriously, though. He died working at fucking Wal-Mart. That’s like dying while taking it in the ass from a horse. It’s just not something that you’d want on your gravestone.
I also have to laugh at the people who are so anxious to get their shit on Black Friday that they feel the need to zerg the store. Christ.
Drawminos
Drawminos is a virtual domino simulator. You can build your own elaborate setup and then knock it all down. Pretty damn cool, although I’m sure that this could become a huge time suck for some people.
Play Auditorium
Auditorium is a game – a very cool, musical game of sorts. I don’t really know how to explain it. You direct the flow of energy to create music. You can check it out for yourself here.
