Traitor

Traitor was the film of choice at my house last night. I thought it was a decent movie, all things considered. There were a few holes in the plot, some odd bits of dialogue here and there, and a couple of parts felt very “cut and paste” but it was at least interesting and you could tell that the director was really trying to do something new. I respect that.

I’m honestly a huge fan of Don Cheadle, however, so I may be a bit biased in my opinions of his work. (A lot of people missed him in Hotel Rwanda, which was a very powerful movie.)

Regardless, I think it would be hard for anyone to argue with me when I say that Cheadle definitely did a great job in the leading role here and I doubt that anyone else would have fit as well as he did. I really thought that this movie was going to be a lot different than it turned out to be – and I mean that in the best way possible.
