Mobile Phones Over the Years
There’s a great feature over on Wired on how mobile phones have changed over the years. I still remember my first cell phone. It was one of the big ugly Samsung behemoths from Verizon Wireless. It was sometime in 1998. The service was terrible and the battery life was atrocious, but I was one of the “cool” people.

Daring Prison Escape in Greece
CNN is reporting on the resignation of three high-ranking Greek prison employees, including the facility’s director, after a daring prison escape that took place yesterday afternoon. Two inmates, Vassilis Paleokostas, 42, and Alket Riza, 34, escaped from Korydallos Prison by way of a helicoptor that two accomplices hijacked from nearby Athens International Airport.
No word on who these guys are connected to.
