Layer Cake
We checked out Layer Cake the other night. It came out back in 2004 and stars Daniel Craig, who has most recently found fame as James Bond in both Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale.
I thought it was a great movie. Superb acting and a believable, interesting story about the dangers of the drug trade. It had a very Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels feel to it, which should come as no surprise considering that Guy Ritchie was the director. If you were a Lock Stock fan and you haven’t already seen this one, then you definitely need to check it out.
Jazz and Beats on Ableton
Another very cool live Ableton performance, this time with great jazz elements.

Regardless of whether or not you voted for President Obama, you’ll probably find this interesting. PolitiFact features a continuously updated list of Obama’s kept, broken, and stalled promises. So far, he’s 20-3, which is not bad at all.

Max Payne III: Coming Winter 2009
I don’t know what else to say other than, “About fucking time!”
That’s right. Max Payne III, coming to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 courtesy of Rockstar Games this winter. You can visit the official website for the game here, although not much is available at this time.
