Google’s Lead Designer Goes to Twitter
There are heavy rumors that Google’s top designer, David Bowman, is heading over to Twitter. He supposedly quit because the search giant’s top brass have developed an obsession with data and a disregard for design.
It’s beginning to sound as though Google may be losing its controlling grip on the Internet. I’m curious to see what happens with them, next.

Aviary
I still haven’t figured out what all it can and can’t do, but Aviary is definitely one of the coolest new art design tools on the web. It consists of Peacock, Phoenix, Raven, and Toucan. Each serves a unique purpose.

Even Top Gear Feels the Economic Crunch
The word according to this Daily Star article is that Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson has been told by the BBC to ditch the super car angle of the show and instead focus on more economical vehicles. Yes, you read that right. A show called “Top Gear” isn’t going to be about fast cars anymore.
