I’ve been playing a lot of Quake Live beta this afternoon. It’s a pretty amazing game given that the whole thing runs on Java.

My only problems so far are occasional bouts of lag and the fact that there are very few people playing who can hold a candle to my rocket launcher or rail gun. I’m usually not one to brag about gaming skills, but Quake III just… my game. I actually got bored.

Are any of you WTC visitors out there particularly good? Post in the comments! I’d love to get a match going sometime.
