Battlestations: Pacific
Mr. Maroon and I sat down for a few minutes yesterday with the Xbox 360 demo for Battlestations: Pacific. We both thought that it was decent. I might pick up a copy. Check out some gameplay footage below. It’s sort of like Battlefield 1942 but this one is exclusively about the vehicle combat.

Red Faction Guerrilla
I sat down with Mr. Maroon to play through both the single player and multiplayer demos of Red Faction Guerrilla on the Xbox 360 this afternoon.
All I can say right now is, “Wow.” It’s been years since I’ve had that much fun playing a game. Barring a few minor bugs and glitches here and there, it is without a doubt the most intense and entertaining online gaming experience I’ve had since the first time I played Quake III. The guns are great, the various packs work without fail and the control scheme makes absolute sense – at least to me.
If you own a 360 and haven’t yet played the multiplayer demo, you must do so. I’m now anxiously awaiting the release on this game and will likely play the MP demo for many more hours leading up to the launch.

Sound Sensitive Piglets
Apparently, pigs are very sensitive in the higher regions of their head. I picked that up during a presentation on how a pig’s response to orgasm differs from a human’s. (Yes, I know how wrong that sounds.)
Anyway, humans are sensitive in the mouth area. Hence the funny faces and sounds people make during sex. A sow, on the other hand, doesn’t show any facial expression, but her flapping ears will tell she’s having a good time.

Pornstar Suspended From College
A Christian college boy named John Gechter, who apparently had a part-time job as pornstar in several x-rated movies, has been suspended from college.
Only a few weeks before graduating, a fellow student at the Grove City College discovered Gechter’s work on the Internet (how did that happen?) and e-mailed the footage to the rest of the school. The very next day, John was suspended from school.
On the upside, Gechter, in the industry known as Vincent DeSalvo, will have enough time to continue his acting career.
