We caught this trailer heading into the new Transformers movie. It looks pretty fucking cool, if you ask me.

Microsoft Rips Kayak Site for Bing Travel Search
It appears that Microsoft’s lazy developers have once again ripped a design concept from another company and published it as their own. This time, their victim is Kayak, a discount travel site that’s been around for several years.
You can read the full details and see a side by side screenshot in this Wired article. It’s pretty blatant.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
We went to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen last night.
I wish we hadn’t.
Don’t get me wrong – it was a typical Michael Bay action movie. The audio was spectacular and there were some very cool action scenes. However, there were also plot continuity issues and the whole story felt rushed and very cliché. That’s a big accomplishment considering that the movie was two and a half hours long.
I think the thing that pissed me off the most was the fact that Bay thought it would be a good idea to pack the movie with stupid and/or crude jokes, unnecessary profanity, and slapstick dialogue. I love that kind of thing if I’m watching a comedy but it just doesn’t fit well in a movie about a battle over the fate of humanity.
I honestly hope that this is the last of the series. Sadly, I don’t think that will be the case.

Well, Fuck
The power supply on my desktop just gave out about twenty minutes ago. It’s never a good thing when you can smell a component in your computer.
I’m going to grab a 650W unit from the local computer shop later today and pray that nothing else was damaged when the PSU went.
Update: Back up and running on a 730W PSU! Nothing else lost! Woo!

Alice In Wonderland
In case you weren’t aware, Tim Burton is working on a film adaptation of Alice In Wonderland. The Mad Hatter will be played by Johnny Depp, the Red Queen will be played by Helena Bonham-Carter, and the White Queen will be played by Anne Hathaway. Check out the concept photos below!
Have fun trying to sleep tonight with that image of Depp in your head.

Out of Context #0134
Mr. Blue: Maybe we’ll finally get an encore of Thriller, now!
Mr. Pink: Too soon, man. Too soon.
