Dada Life – Just Do the Dada
Need a new dance album to play at your next house party? Check out Just Do the Dada, the new one from Swedish house duo Dada Life. They were responsible for last summer’s monster hit, Fun Fun Fun. This time around, it’s Happy Hands and Happy Feet, a heavy disco house bomb that really pushes the sub-woofer.
The album is almost completely instrumental and features some seriously fat analog synth work. It’s sure to get your head bobbing and you can’t help but smile when listening to tracks like Love Vibrations. The vocal distortion work in that one is hilarious but catchy.

Dr. Dre and Dr. Pepper
I thought this was pretty clever. The interesting thing is that the slowed down version of the techno track is in fact Shit Popped Off, one of the title tracks off of Dr. Dre’s upcoming sequel to his 2001 masterpiece. I’m an old NWA fan, so I can’t wait.

Shaquille O’Neal Traded to Cleveland
For those of you who are basketball fans, several media outlets are reporting that the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to send Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to the Phoenix Suns along with a second round draft pick in next week’s draft plus cash in trade for Shaquille O’Neal. That means that Shaq and LeBron James are now on the same team.

Farrah Fawcett Dead at 62
Farrah Fawcett, the 1970s sex symbol and star of the original Charlie’s Angels series, died this morning of anal cancer at the age of 62. I must admit that I’m tempted to crack a joke about this but I don’t want to be thought of as an asshole. She was a nice lady. Making her the butt of a joke would be wrong, right?
No Retrial for The Pirate Bay
A Swedish Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the Stockholm District Court this morning in The Pirate Bay case, dashing hopes that there would be a retrial for Peter Sunde and the rest of the site admins.
Sunde recently tweeted that they would answer the ruling by filing charges against Sweden for human rights violations.
