This is just depressing – and all too true.

Here’s the second part to this in an attempt to cheer us up. But I still feel a little dead inside :’(

I gotta find my Calvin and Hobbs collection book. I remember reading one with Suzie where Calvin states “You can’t even see the scars from the lobotomy.”
Yeah its hear-warming that we as a society medicate creativity.
Call me a dumbass, but I don’t get it. I’m not a fan of Calvin and Hobbs, so…
dude calvin and hobbs was ahead of the curve! there is a report out today that more kids are landing in the ER from AD DRUG ABUSE sad really! i miss C&H I wish dude was still producing that series
got thru college reading his books
Jeffrey – Hobbes is a stuffed tiger who Calvin imagines is alive. They go on adventures that usually culminate in deep social commentary. The series is one of the most brilliant comics ever penned. This is among the most depressing because the medication that Calvin’s mother has him on to keep him “focused” is effectively killing his imagination and, therefore, Hobbes’ very existence.
I saw/owned/read a lot of C&H as a younger man and I don’t remember this particular one. Is is the end of the series?
Ah, thanks Mr. Pink. I get it now.
