I’m bringing the site down at some point later this week to run a series of important updates on the back end of things and to make some much needed server configuration changes.
I don’t expect the downtime to last very long and it probably won’t even impact most of you, as I plan to take care of it in the middle of the night. Still, I thought it was important to keep you informed.
either your target audience is country specific or you’re not yet aware that the planet has 24 time zones…..so which one is it?
Being in Australia, I might’ve freaked out a bit if I had logged on to see that my favourite site was down. Thanks for the heads up.
Dablindfrog – It’s not an issue of “target” audience, to be honest. It’s that our site analytics indicate that 86% of our users are from the U.S. The downtime shouldn’t be longer than an hour, regardless.

Hey Mr. Pink, what happened to the vip login button on the home screen? did it just disappear for me? I had to do a search for an article about the vip section to see it. I can send along a screencap if you like.
