Remember Dick Cheney? You know, the former Vice President of the United States of America? The one who lied to the American public on just about everything? The one who had people tortured? The one who most likely had quite a few people murdered? The one who tried to end the careers of those who attempted to tell the truth?
Yeah, well, it turns out that he couldn’t recall a whole lot during his interview with the FBI back in May, 2004. The transcript is now available. It would be laughable if not for the fact that it’s sick, sad, and depressing.
I think it’s funny how people attribute all these things to Bush and Cheny when people like Nancy Pelosi had just as much knowledge of the torture going on.
Why not call her out for her ‘lapse in memory’ she claimed to have while being briefed on torture?
I’d also like to know some of thing things he supposedly lied about. I can’t remember him ever being caught lying while in office.
…and I think it’s funny when people try to play the, “But look at what the other guy did!” card to try and take something away from the subject at hand. I’m not saying that Pelosi didn’t do her fair share of lying. She did – and she deserves to be tossed out on her ass for it.
