Posted by Mr. PinkAmerica’s Army, the United States Army’s decent but relatively unpopular free online PC shooter, has eaten up $32,800,000 since it launched in 2000. Although a large chunk of that probably went to advertising and support, I’m still a bit shocked at the price tag – especially considering the overall quality of the product. Of course, the U.S. tax payers have been stuck with the bill. Awesome!

It was amazingly popular when it first launched, and was a giant Army and Marine advertisement at the same time. I played it for about a year, which is average for a good fps.
