The velocity and angle are way off. Unless the ball had an accelerant that fired after he struck it, it would have fallen well short and to achieve that level of curve would have required centrifugal forces neither the ball or bat are capable of providing.
He struck the ball out of shot to the right and the CGI ball was drawn in after.
