Yes, you’re reading that right. There is a company that makes vodka with bacon flavoring. Mr. Pink posted about it the other day. I’m here to expand our coverage with a review.
I recently purchased and sampled this intriguing spirit, and after much consideration, I deem it “totally fucking awesome”. It’s your regular potato-based vodka, but the clever distillers at Seattle-based Black Rock Spirits have somehow managed to infuse it with the divine flavoring of everyone’s favorite pork product… bacon.
I decided to taste test right when I got home, and it was a wee bit harsh going down, but such is the nature of room-temperature vodka. After chilling it in the freezer for an hour, I had yet another taste test; it definitely goes down very smoothly, and, when compared side-by-side with some actual bacon (well, bacon pizza), I could barely tell the difference.
On a vodka scale, it’s definitely not top-shelf stuff. But on a bacon-creation scale, Bakon Vodka definitely gets my endorsement as something everyone should try.

You should try the Absolut Peppar. Pepper vodka…
