Character Interactions
XKCD put together a chart demonstrating the interaction of characters in several movies (Jurassic Park and The Lord of the Rings, among others) over time. It’s an interesting (and funny) way to look at the films.

One of Banksy’s Largest Works to Be Covered Up
A thirty foot mural of a rat holding a machine gun painted by legendary graffiti artist Banksy will be painted over according to this article on The Telegraph. The piece, which is painted on the outside of a pub in Liverpool, is one of the artist’s largest. The pub’s new owner, a property developer named Billy Palmer, admits that he isn’t a fan of modern art.
Although it’s sad to see his work covered up, the simple fact remains that Palmer owns the property. It’s up to him.

Chat Roulette: The Movie
For those of you who don’t know, Chat Roulette is the latest Internet phenomenon. In a nutshell, it’s a basic web application that randomly matches you with people to chat with. The twist is that it has built in support for (and is actually intended for use with) webcams.
As I’m sure you can imagine, this leads to a lot of “interesting” situations… such as those seen in this video from a YouTube user who decided to create a “documentary”.
From Flashlight to SMG
Wow. Just… wow. This is simultaneously amazing and terrifying.

Dormvault Laptop Safe
I really wish that ThinkGeek had sold something like the Dormvault Laptop Safe when I was still a college student.
For $50, you probably won’t find a safer (or cooler) way to secure your precious laptop. This thing is built from solid steel, weighs only nine pounds, and it can hold up to a 17″ laptop plus a handful of accessories.
It mounts directly to your dorm room furniture and the wing nuts that release it are inside, meaning that a thief would have to steal your entire bed to get your computer. Not likely to happen!
