Interested in learning to DJ your own parties and events? Don’t want to spend an absolute fortune on professional grade gear until you’ve had some practice? Hercules to the rescue! They just announced the release date and pricing for their MK4 DJ controller this past week at Musikmesse, a European music trade fair that takes over there on an annual basis.

The device, which includes an integrated audio source, will be available in June for a mere $199.99. That’s a far cry from, say, my Numark NS-7, which ran me a bit over $1,200. The only other gear you’d need to run your own show is a pair of good PA speakers and some decent headphones – plus a computer, of course.
