The Assault Breacher is based on an M1A1 Abrams tank. It weighs 70 tons, can reach a top speed of 45MPH, and it carries a .50 caliber mounted machine gun for short range defense. The purpose? Destroy IEDs – a job that this monster does exceptionally well. It’s just recently been deployed to the battlefield in Afghanistan under the control of the USMC.
