Need For Speed World: Coming July 20th
EA has high hopes of changing the racing game genre forever with Need For Speed World, a brand new type of racing MMO with RPG style progression. You can pre-order the game through EA or any number of brick and mortar retailers beginning now for $19.99 or you can wait and play the game for “free” beginning July 20th. (I say “free” because you can only progress to level 10 before you’ll have to fork out the one-time fee to continue.)
It seems like a solid idea. The game is based on the same premise as the Most Wanted and Carbon series entries.

Starsailor – Four to the Floor (Thin White Duke Mix)
I’ve had this track (and this remix, especially) stuck in my head for days.

Gary Coleman In Critical Condition
Former child star Gary Coleman, now 42 years old, is currently listed in critical condition at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah. No reason has been given for his hospitalization. This is the third time that Coleman, who suffers from a rare kidney disease that stunted his growth at an early age and forces him to undergo dialysis daily, has been in the hospital for an emergency since January.
For those of you who don’t know who Coleman is, he became famous as Arnold Drummond, a character in the 1970s-1980s sitcom Diff’rent Strokes. He’s best known for his classic line, “Whatchoo talkin’ ‘bout, Willis?”
Here’s hoping that the little guy pulls through.

Plummeting Pot Prices In California Create Panic
The impact of medical marijuana distribution throughout the state of California has had a devastating impact on the street price of pot, according to this report on NPR. If this isn’t a solid argument for legalizing it, I don’t know what is.

The Expendables
I think this widescreen teaser for The Expendables really drives home the fact that this is going to be the most insanely awesome slapstick action movie in the history of film.
