The Big Picture put up a collection of images from the G20 summit protests going in Toronto right now. Things are ugly, to say the least. Many of the protesters have turned violent toward police and private property, which you can clearly see in the image below.

I wish they’d stop calling the criminals who take advantage of the anarchy to loot shops “anti-G20 protesters”
The guy looting the cell phones is a looter, a thief. He was before the protests and he will continue to be one after.
The majority of the violence is caused by the same people who bring violence to football matches or any other situation where they can fight for the sake of fighting. Again, fuck all to do with protests.
Then you have the brainless morons who did go out to protest, then saw the violence, thought they were supposed to join in and did.
Meanwhile the reasons for the protests go unreported as the mass media focuses on the crime. End result?
A massive win for the G20.
Until the protest groups and police tackle the hooligans like they did in European football, these events will continue to be marred by crime. But everyone is only out for themselves on both sides, so nothing will change.
Yeah democracy!
Just label them as domestic terrorists and be done with it. They aren’t damaging the G20 or anything to do with it and are instead destroying the local community around it.
