According to this Bloomberg report, Verizon Wireless is going to start carrying the Apple iPhone beginning in January, 2011, bringing an end to the iron grip that AT&T has held on the device since January, 2007.

Not surprisingly, Apple and Verizon are refusing comment at this time.
