Global Agenda Goes “Free to Play” Before the Subscription Model Even Launches
In a surprise move, Global Agenda developer Hi-Rez Studios announced today that the game will not in fact require a subscription – meaning that all of the otherwise “premium” content is now free to all who purchase the game. To celebrate, the company is currently running a discount on Steam.
I played Global Agenda quite a bit at launch but dropped quickly due to a general lack of content and a slew of annoying bugs. However, now that the game has been out for a while and the developer appears to have resolved a lot of the problems, I may give it another shot.
