TechCrunch is reporting that Google just invested somewhere between $100 and $200 million in Zynga, the company responsible for FarmVille and Mafia Wars.

This could be an indication that a Google Games app or product is somewhere on the horizon, although Google hasn’t said anything about the money or their reasons for investing in such a god-awful concept.
