A relatively unknown game developer called IIIFonic has announced plans to bring a multiplayer shooter called Nexuiz to PSN and XBLA next year. While that in itself isn’t big news, what is big news is that they’re going to be the first company to put out a digital download title based on Crytek’s CryENGINE 3.
There aren’t many other details about the game available right now. IIIFonic has plans for a big press event at PAX Prime in Seattle this September, however.

I used to play this game online a lot. There’s actually a free version here: http://www.alientrap.org/nexuiz/ . It’s almost like a free version of Halo where you pretty much can only play deathmatch and CTF but it’s really cool, the weapons are pretty expansive, the characters are customizable and it’s pretty fun to play over a LAN line while at work if you have the down time.
Not a chance after the bullshit that was Blacklight.
