Sex in Games, Five Years After “Hot Coffee”
1Up writer Anthony John Agnello published a really interesting piece on sex in video games – and how the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas “hot coffee” scandal paved the way for some of the things we’re seeing in today’s most popular games.
I personally don’t have a problem with sex in video games. There are ratings on the boxes, just like you’d find with a movie or album. They’re there for a good reason.

Take a long, hard look at the Nintendo Wiimote attachments in the image below. If you had to guess, what game would you say these were designed for?
If you said, “Some sort of awesome robot game,” you’d unfortunately be wrong.
If you said, “Some sort of bizarre multiplayer sex game,” you’d be right on the money.
Just when you thought people couldn’t get any weirder…

AMD Killing ATI in 2011
AMD has announced plans to kill the longstanding ATI brand in 2011 in favor of their new Fusion technology, which is essentially a hybrid between a GPU and a CPU. However, we won’t stop seeing video cards from ATI. The Radeon and FirePro brands remain intact.
AMD and ATI merged in 2006 in a deal valued at $5.4 billion.
21 Year Old Poses as Pee-Wee Football Player
A 21 year old man named Julious Threatts used the name Chad Jordan to pose as a 14 year old boy so that he could register and play for a little league football team called the Town N’ Country Packers. The Packers play in Tampa, Florida.
Threatts, who is apparently a runaway, was caught after he tried to enroll at two schools - Hillsborough County Middle School and Web Middle Scool. He showed up alone and without the proper paperwork, however, which prompted school officials to challenge his claims. He was eventually outed as a scam artist and arrested.
World of WarCraft Remade with StarCraft II
It was bound to happen – and there’s a serious, “Yo, dawg,” joke to be made here.
Unfortunately, this is more a proof of concept than an actual mod. However, it’s still amazing to see what can be done with Blizzard’s map editing tools.
