Halo: Reach By the Numbers

Aside from having 65% more concurrent users than Halo 3 ever had, Halo: Reach posted some rather impressive numbers in its first week.

  • 70 million+ games have been played
  • 235 million+ player-games have been played
  • 2 million+ files have been uploaded to File Shares
  • 5,901 years have been spent in onlineĀ games
  • 20 million daily challenges have been completed
  • 709,840 weekly challenges have been completed
  • 165 billion credits have been earned

That’s… disgusting. Is the entire world playing the damn game?

I was playing and sadly, Bungie is STILL not prepared for the amount of people as the server has already went down a couple times. Needless to say, there are a fuck ton of people playing like 24/7.

Halo is a terrible game. I dont understand how so many people love it so much. They must have never played almost any FPS on a computer.
