Remember David Kernell, the kid in Tennessee who made headlines for hacking into Sarah Palin’s email account and posting its contents on 4chan back in 2008? He was convicted earlier this year of midsdemeanor computer intrusion as well as a felony for obstruction of justice because he tried to delete the evidence of what he’d done.
He’s now facing 18 months in prison, according to this article on Threat Level.
His lawyer, of course, is arguing for a lighter sentence.





These things are a joke these days when these agencies dont feel as compelled to go after politicians/business men who seem only interested in corrupting government for their own personal benefit.
I wouldnt really call it a joke, it just means that as an individual without any real money or power, you are an easy target if you think you have the balls to attach someone that does. So dont fuck with fire.
Looks like another information leak that didn’t amount to anything other than the leaker getting in trouble.
