A reader sent this to us a few days back. Mr. Blue and I have both taken the test. I didn’t do as well as I was expecting to do. I’m certainly not colorblind but it can be a challenge to differentiate between similar hues when you really get down to the small shifts.

A score of 4 (the lower the better) on a BenQ 24GW screen, calibrated with spyder express 2.
Perfect color acuity (male, 20-29), but it took a solid ten minutes. Seems like the best way to do it is to get things basically in order and then shuffle by one to the right or left – that seemed to make things jump out to me. The one with the dark green and blue was the most difficult for me, with orange and yellow being easiest.
i scored 11?
Score: 0
Yay!
146 Haha
i scored 12
Woohoo! I scored a 0. Guess that is a good thing considering I go to an art and design college haha.
I couldn’t even do it, the colors hurt my eyes.
I got a 19 with a headache. took about 5 mins and i doubt i’d have done much better. Apparently the whole turquoise band looks the same to me. the rest was nearly perfect.
Got an 8. I figured I did pretty well, but tried not to take too long to do it. I got four wrong in the reddish pink and four wrong in the greenish blue. I won’t lose much sleep over that test.
I guess it really depends on your monitor
Its a good test of the eyes, and how calibrated your monitor is too.
scored a 19, with a headache, but it also depends as already mentioned depends on your monitor
Please take in consideration that all LCD monitors do not accurately show all colors. If you do not have an old monitor (non flat!) or a very expensive one, which is known to accurately reproduce colors, the test will be more difficult.
19 within about 3-4 minutes, not too bad – my eyesight has been going bad lately
i scored better than i expected. and yea i think it is effected by the quality of the monitor as well. this netbook did not display all colours properly
I majored in graphic design and I got a ’4′
benq fp241w and i got a score of 0! take that faggots, i bet no one can beat that score(no really no one can technically beat it)
3. Wish they would show me what I fucked up. If I had to guess it was somewhere in the blue/green area.
I scored a 7, not bad for a 54-year-old. Graphic designer. I have a CRT screen and I wouldn’t recommend anything else for this kind of exercise.
I got a 31 in 5 mins from across the room using my laptop connected to a Sony Bravia 42″ LCD by HDMI
