Sanctum

This is James Cameron’s latest work. It definitely looks interesting.

Adult Chocolate Milk

I didn’t think it was possible for chocolate milk to be any more awesome. I was wrong. Dead wrong. I present to you Adult Chocolate Milk – perhaps the only dairy product in the world that you can get completely shit-faced drinking.

“Re-taste your youth. At 40 proof.” Seriously? What will they think of next?

Feds Seek 18 Months in Prison for Palin Email Hacker

Remember David Kernell, the kid in Tennessee who made headlines for hacking into Sarah Palin’s email account and posting its contents on 4chan back in 2008? He was convicted earlier this year of midsdemeanor computer intrusion as well as a felony for obstruction of justice because he tried to delete the evidence of what he’d done.

He’s now facing 18 months in prison, according to this article on Threat Level.

His lawyer, of course, is arguing for a lighter sentence.

Woman Shakes Baby to Death for Interrupting Farmville

I often hear friends and coworkers joking around about knowing someone who lost their life to Farmville.

Sadly, that’s no longer just a figure of speech.

Police arrested a 22 year old mother in Jacksonville, Florida earlier this week for shaking her three month old son to death because she wanted to play the game but couldn’t get him to stop crying.

It’s only a matter of time before the media latches on to this one. It doesn’t help that the girl looks crazy, either.

Avatar Sequels Receive Green Light

It’s official: director James Cameron signed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox today that puts him back in the driver’s seat on production of a second and third Avatar movie.

Cameron confirmed that both movies will take place on the fictional planet of Pandora but that none of the films will be direct sequels to one another. Rather, he intends to tie each of the stories back to the lore that he spent years building up for the first movie.

I wonder if people will regard these as this era’s Star Wars twenty years from now?
