The title of Christopher Nolan’s third run at the Batman film franchise is no longer a mystery. The movie is going to be called The Dark Knight Rises and it has an expected release date of July 20, 2012.
As expected, Christian Bale will reprise his role as Batman. He’s joined by Tom Hardy, who played Eames in Inception. Hardy’s role isn’t known at this point. He’s either going to be a villain… or perhaps Robin?
I remember when Batman Begins came out Bale stated that as soon as Robin is in the movies he walks. (kinda like Smallville’s no tights no flight rule)
And repotedly this is Bale’s last time as batman so hell maybe Hardy will be Robin. If he still has the size he put on for Bronson he’s gonna be one badass robin.
This was announced over a month ago, man. :p I think the title is really lazy.
