Sixth Splinter Cell Confirmed
Jade Raymond, the Managing Director at Ubisoft Toronto, has confirmed that her 83 person team is working on a sixth entry in the Splinter Cell series – and Sam Fisher is back in the driver’s seat. It sounds like it’s going to be a direct offshoot from Conviction.
Assassin’s Creed IV Confirmed
A fourth Assassin’s Creed game is due out before the end of 2011 according to Geoffroy Sardin, the chief of marketing and sales for Ubisoft in Europe – and Ezio will not be the protagonist this time around. In fact, that game won’t even take place in the same region or time period. In fact, the rumor is that it will take place 200 years after Brotherhood.
This really isn’t surprising news considering the sales numbers for Brotherhood. It’s done a remarkable job since launch a few weeks ago considering that it had Black Ops and Gran Turismo 5 to contend with – not to mention Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.

General Butt Naked
If you thought Adolf Hitler was a crazy son of a bitch, you may find yourself picking your jaw up off of the floor after you read this terrifying Daily Mail profile of Joshua Milton Blahyi, better known as General Butt Naked.
During the 1980′s and early 1990′s, he was the most powerful warlord in Liberia, and one of the scariest people on the face of the planet. He claimed to be in communication with the devil, killed and ate children because he believed that it gave him power, and he waged the bloodiest and most ruthless wars in all of Africa.
Today, he’s a Christian pastor with a wife and three kids.
Wait, what?

Details of Next Wikileaks Release Revealed
Der Spiegel just let the cat out of the bag. The next Wikileaks release is due sometime later today and, as expected, it’s a giant collection of 251,287 cables and approximately 8,000 diplomatic directives from the State Department spanning 1966 to 2010. Six percent of the documents are supposedly classified as “secret”. (None are “top secret”, however.)
A total of 9,005 documents date from the first two months of 2010. Der Spiegel, The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde and El País have all had access to the files for quite a while now and reviewed them thoroughly.
