Swordvision
A couple of guys decided to duct tape their GoPro Hero video camera to the end of a broadsword just to see what the resulting footage would look like. Needless to say, don’t watch this if you get dizzy easily. And don’t watch it full screen. You’ll puke.
Between 5 and 6 Million CDMA iPhones Shipping Q1 2011
In a move that all but confirms an iPhone for Verizon customers in 2011, Apple plans to ship somewhere between 5 and 6 million CDMA versions of their flagship phone during the first quarter of next year. They’re ordering a total of more than 21 million units from their manufacturing partners in Taiwan.
If you’re a VZW customer and you’ve been holding out on your next upgrade in hope of a miracle, the wait may finally be over.

Julian Assange Signs $1.5 Million Book Deal
Julian Assange told the Sunday Times yesterday that he has signed a book deal worth $1.5 million for his autobiography. The Wikileaks founder says that the proceeds will be used for his legal defense against accusations of sexual assault.
The announcement comes just days after the news that a former Wikileaks spokesperson, Daniel Domscheit-Berg, plans to release a tell-all book called Inside Wikileaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World’s Most Dangerous Website. It’s due out in February. No word on when Assange’s book will be available for purchase.
The 30,000 Calorie Christmas Dinner
Oh, how I wish this post were about an Epic Mealtime video and not a disgusting woman from New Jersey named Donna Simpson who is actually trying to become the world’s fattest woman.
But alas, that’s exactly what it’s about.
Simpson, who has a huge online following, ate more than 30,000 calories this past weekend over a two hour period. She took down a total of two 25 pound turkeys, two maple hams, 15 pounds of potatoes (10 pounds were roasted, 5 pounds were mashed), five loaves of bread, five pounds of stuffing, four pints of gravy, four pints of cranberry dressing and 20 pounds of vegetables. She followed that up with a “salad” consisting of marshmallow, cream cheese, whipped cream and cookies.
Simpson is married with two children (yes, seriously) and thinks that she’s perfectly fine and that her lifestyle is healthy. I don’t really know what to say about that – or any of this, for that matter. I’m absolutely floored.

Epic Games to Announce New IP at GDC 2011
According to an interview with Cliff Bleszinski of Epic Games set to be published in the January, 2011 issue of EGM, we should expect a new IP from the legendary maker of both the Unreal and Gears of War franchises at GDC 2011. Bleszinski came up with the idea for the game but Eric Holmes, lead designer of Prototype, is the one making the game.
Given Epic’s track record, I’m guessing that it’s going to be another first-person shooter.

Do we have any What The Christ? readers near New York?
How are you guys (or girls) holding up? It looks to be quite the mess over there.
