Massive Super Meat Boy PC Update Coming in January
Fans of the PC version of Super Meat Boy are in for quite a beefy (ha) update sometime next month, as Team Meat is planning to add a new “Super Meat World” chapter as well as a huge level editor that will allow players to create custom maps using virtually anything found in the game. They’re also implementing a level sharing system.
For those of you who have yet to play Super Meat Boy, it’s basically a drug-addled version of Super Mario Bros. similar to N+.

Chrono Trigger Going Mobile?
Square Enix launched an interesting teaser site for something Chrono Trigger related yesterday. It appears to be some sort of mobile port of the famed Super Nintendo RPG.
If that’s really what it is, we may never hear from Mr. Maroon again.

Off-Duty Sheriff’s Deputy Shoots Armed Robber in the Groin
An off-duty deputy from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department in Texas shot an 18 year old armed robber in the groin in a pawn shop in downtown San Antonio yesterday. The teenager was in the middle of robbing the store with a semiautomatic pistol when the officer, who hasn’t been named, simply walked up to him and fired.
The robber was treated at a nearby hospital before being booked into jail on two charges of aggravated robbery and assault on a peace officer.

Team Fortress 2: Double Drop Rate Week
I meant to post a heads-up about this yesterday and forgot. Valve is running a Double Drop Rate Week in Team Fortress 2 until December 30th. That means that, well, all of the items in the game are dropping at twice the normal rate. Duh. If you happen to play, it would be a good idea to log some time in the next few days.

Pair of Thieves Caught With Stolen Goods Hidden in Some Rather Unique Places
A 31 year old woman from Geneva, Alabama and her male counterpart were captured after being caught on a security camera at a retail store in Crestview, Florida stealing a large quantity of merchandise.
This wouldn’t be a particularly unusual or interesting story if not for the fact that when the police arrested the thieving duo, the woman had a pair of shoes tucked under her breasts – and the man had a pair of pants hidden inside his pants.
