Gamersmint posted up a summary of an article published in Dutch Power Unlimited magazine earlier this week that sheds a lot more light on The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
There’s too much new information to list here but some of the highlights are that the game has no level cap, the in-game world is expected to be about as big as that of Oblivion, and a lot of work has been done in the area of animation – something Bethesda’s always been chastised for in their games.

Great. Another great sandbox where we’ll likely trudge through, forgetting the main mission (on purpose). My problem wasn’t their animations in Oblivion, but lack of creativity. Each Gate you went in was the same poke-poke-win-leave-find-next-gate. The sad thing is, for as great as Bethesda makes their games, there’s others that outpace them in less time. I’m glaring at YOU, Fable.
Bethesda should just hunker down and make an MMO, tacking on all the predictable quests into that, since that’s basically what they’ve done since… well… always.
