New PS3 Firmware Hacked In Under 24 Hours

A few days ago, Sony released new version 3.56 firmware for the PS3 to fix a few bugs in the operating system. It also just happened to break custom firmware. It took hackers less than 24 hours to bust the new release, however.

KaKaRoToKS, the same guy who released a custom firmware hack forĀ 3.55, is once again the man responsible. He’s also known for breaking protection on the Nintendo Wii.
