Riverdale: The Archie Movie

If you grew up reading the Archie comics, then you have to stop and watch this absolutely amazing fan-made trailer for a fictional movie called Riverdale. It’s incredibly well made – and it more or less touches on everything you always assumed about the characters.

NEStalgia

A development house called Silk Games just launched an 8-bit homage to the original NES called NEStalgia. It’s a free to play MMO in the style of The Legend of Zelda. I haven’t played it, yet, but it looks damn cool.

Valve Adds Screenshot Manager to Steam

Valve just announced the addition of an interesting new feature to Steam – a Screenshot Manager, complete with 1GB of personal storage for every Steam user. I can see Garry’s Mod users enjoying the hell out of this thing.

World Ideologies Explained Using Cows

If you’ve ever wanted a basic explanation of some of the major ideologies from around the world, I can’t think of anything more hilarious than these. Everything from Capitalism to Cambodian Communism is covered. Here are a couple of my favorites:

Fascism: You have two cows. The government takes both, hires you to take care of them, and sells you the milk.

Capitalism: You don’t have any cows. The bank will not lend you money to buy cows, because you don’t have any cows to put up as collateral.

Good for a laugh and you may learn something!

Ubisoft Dumps DRM for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood PC

It’s official: you won’t have to put up with Ubisoft’s draconian DRM if you purchase the PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. Apparently, the second game’s weaker sales have convinced them that it’s a bad idea to require gamers to maintain a connection to the Internet in order to play a single player game.

Oh, and they also confirmed that it’s coming to gamers in Europe on March 18th and in the United States on March 22nd. Wee!
