Chernokids
Chernokids is an animated short about four (five?) kids coping with mutations caused by the Chernobyl disaster. It’s disturbing and awesome all at once. Well worth watching.

Amazon Introduces Cloud Player Service
Amazon dropped a big bomb on the Internet today, stealing Google’s thunder with the release of a cloud storage and streaming service for music called Cloud Player. It works on both PC and Android devices.
Existing customers get 5GB of storage for free. New customers get 20GB with the purchase of an album via Amazon MP3 – at least for the next few weeks. You’ll otherwise be able to upgrade to 20GB for $20 yearly.
And yes, it even supports DRM-free iTunes purchases!

News Corp. to Hand MySpace to Vevo?
According to a new report on Bloomberg, music giant Vevo.com may soon be assuming control over ailing social media network MySpace.
Nothing has been made official yet but the gist of the deal would be News Corp. handing over total control in exchange for a stake in what would undoubtedly become an advertising driven venture. (Vevo is an ad company that focuses on music videos online.)

French Spider-Man Scales Burj Khalifa
Alain Robert, the famous free climber known by many as the French Spider-Man, conquered the world’s tallest building yesterday in scaling the Burj Khalifa. Authorities required him to use a rope and harness, however, so it wasn’t his traditional approach.
Regardless, this guy is insane.
