The Asterite: Zero System Demo
This man is DJ’ing using a Steel Battalion controller and a Saitek X45 Joystick. Please excuse me while I retrieve my jaw from the fucking floor.
Man Dresses As Cow, Steals 26 Gallons of Milk From Walmart, Tries to Give It Away
Jonathan Payton, 18, of North Stafford, Virginia had local police scratching their heads after he dressed up as a cow, crawled into a Walmart store on all fours, stole 26 gallons of milk, and then proceeded to try to distribute it to customers in the parking lot outside of the store. He “tried to flee by skipping away” when approached by police.
I’m fairly certain that Mr. Payton is my new personal hero.
More Than 2.2 Million PSN Members’ Credit Card Numbers Go Up For Sale On Black Market Forum
As if Sony wasn’t already dealing with enough of a public relations nightmare in the wake of the massive PlayStation Network hack that occurred last week, a group of low level cyber criminals are shopping around what they say is a complete list of 2.2 million credit card numbers belonging to PSN members.
Sony is now saying that while they do believe that credit card numbers were among data stolen by the individual or group that raided their servers, that particular database had a decent amount of encryption protecting it. If that’s true, the list is probably bogus. If not, then Sony is going to have a huge lawsuit on their hands.
Apple Releases White iPhone 4
As expected, Apple finally released the white iPhone 4 yesterday. Aside from a slight fix to the phone’s proximity detector, it’s functionally the same as the black version.
I’m honestly surprised that they aren’t charging more for this version considering how many people wanted one in white. It’s not like Apple to miss an opportunity to make an extra buck. I’m beginning to wonder if they’re turning over a new leaf.
Mario + Portal = Epic Win
I desperately want someone to turn this into an actual video game.
Redbox to Begin Renting Video Games
Redbox, the movie rental service that has its kiosks installed outside of just about every grocery store in the United States, is about to expand its already impressive reach into the otherwise floundering video game rental market. Beginning in June, the company plans to rent some of the latest titles for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii for $2.00 per day.
It should be interesting to see how this is received by gamers.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
The first full length trailer for the third Transformers movie has landed. Loud Noises 3!
THQ Delays Red Faction: Armageddon
Volition apparently needs an extra week to finish up the polish on the next entry in the Red Faction series. Armageddon has been pushed back from May 31st to June 7th according to a new report from publisher THQ. It sucks but if a delay means that they’re able to squash bugs and generally making the final product better, a week is acceptable.
