Square Enix Files Copyright For “Hitman: Absolution”

It appears that the fifth entry in theĀ Hitman series will be called Hitman: Absolution. Or, at least, the legal department at Square Enix has filed a copyright for a software title with that name. We should know for sure come E3.

Toys R’ Us Weekend Video Game Sale

If you live near a Toys R’ Us, you might want to drop by at some point this weekend. They’re running a buy one, get one half off sale on all of their video games.

That includes brand new releases like Portal 2 and Shift Unleashed 2. Woo!

Blizzard Showing StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm Next Month

Several gaming news sites are reporting that Blizzard has contacted them to say that they’re planning to show gameplay from the first StarCraft II expansion, Heart of the Swarm, at a press event next month. No other information is available at this time.

Sony PSPGo and Nintendo DS Lite Discontinued

It’s a rough day for fans of handheld gaming today. Sony is discontinuing the PSPGo after only two years on the market and it appears Nintendo is giving the DS Lite the axe, too.

Of course, Sony has the Xperia Play on the horizon andĀ Nintendo has the 3DS to pick up the slack. But that doesn’t change the fact that this is a sad news.
