Apple to Give Students $200 iPad Credit With New Macs?
A source inside Apple told BGR that the company will announce an awesome new discount plan at this year’s WWDC for students who decide to purchase a new Mac – a free iPod Touch, $229 towards any other iPod product, or a $200 iPad discount.
Obviously, the iPad discount is the way to go. If you’re a student and you were looking at a Mac laptop, anyway, you might want to wait on your purchase!

Lockheed Martin Buys First Commercial Quantum Computer
Aerospace defense contractor Lockheed Martin just entered into a “multi-year contract” with D-Wave Systems, Inc. to purchase the world’s first commercially available quantum computer. Here’s a blurb from the official press release:
Lockheed Martin and D-Wave will collaborate to realize the benefits of a computing platform based upon a quantum annealing processor, as applied to some of Lockheed Martin’s most challenging computation problems. The multi-year contract includes a system, maintenance and associated professional services.
This is both fascinating and terrifying news. Imagine what could be done with this hardware.

Edible Gummy Shot Glasses
ThinkGeek has sold some amazing edibles over the years but Gummy Shot Glasses are in a league of their own. They come in two sets – RGB and soda flavors.
They’re a bit steep at $14.99 for a set of six but if you want to throw a really kick-ass party, these are a bit of a must have.
