After a four year hiatus, Salad Fingers has returned with a new episode. Whoa.
Computer Error Factors In Release of 450 Violent Offenders
A computer error in California prompted prison officials to release 450 inmates with “a high risk for violence” according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. The report also says that more than 1,000 additional prisoners presenting a high risk of drug crimes, property crimes and other offenses were also let out.
No attempt was made by prison officials to return the offenders to state lockups or place them on supervised parole, as all of the prisoners were placed on “non-revocable parole”.

Left 4 Dead Creator Working For THQ
Remember Turtle Rock Studios? Probably not. They created and developed the bulk of the original Left 4 Dead game beforeĀ Valve acquired them back in 2008. Valve renamed the company to Valve South shortly thereafter and the team basically faded out as Valve put their main development team in charge of Left 4 Dead 2.
But now, three years on, Turtle Rock is back – under the THQ flag. They have a new game in the works and it’s due out in 2013. Expect the unveiling at E3 2011.

SimCity Returns Via Facebook
Love them or hate them, Facebook games are popular. EA has decided to take advantage of that fact by rolling out a new SimCity game as well as a game based on The Simpsons franchise. No word yet on release dates, gameplay mechanics, or anything else of the sort.
I’d probably use Facebook a bit more often if this turns out to be a decent implementation.
