Duke Nukem Forever to Receive Mac Port
Apparently, Duke Nukem Forever was enough of a commercial success that 2K Games has seen fit to allow a Mac OS X port later this summer courtesy of Aspyr Media. It should be interesting to watch this unfold. Duke Nukem isn’t exactly at the top of the list of games I would expect the Mac gaming community to embrace.

Xbox Live Arcade: Summer of Arcade 2012 Titles Revealed
Microsoft is once again running the insanely popular Summer of Arcade promotion on Xbox Live Arcade starting next month. Here are this year’s titles and pricing.
- July 20 - Bastion (1200 Microsoft Points)
- July 27 - From Dust (1200 Microsoft Points)
- August 3 - Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (1200 Microsoft Points)
- August 10 - Fruit Ninja Kinect (800 Microsoft Points)
- August 17 - Toy Soldiers: Cold War (1200 Microsoft Points)
As has been customary in years past, Microsoft is also offering a sixth game free to anyone who buys all five titles. This year’s freebie is Gauntlet Legends clone Crimson Alliance, which otherwise goes on sale on September 7 for 1200 Microsoft Points.
Sadly, Microsoft snuck a Kinect title into the mix. If you don’t have a Kinect, there’s no sense in buying Fruit Ninja and you’re therefore hung out to dry on a free copy of Crimson Alliance. Sure, it only works out to a 400 point spread but it still seems like they’re penalizing gamers who haven’t jumped on the Kinect bandwagon.
TRIBES: Ascend – Gameplay
A gameplay trailer for TRIBES: Ascend, the sequel to Tribes II, has finally hit the web. Oh, and the full game will be free to play when it releases.

Mojang Changes Minecraft Patch Plans
Markus “Notch” Persson announced via his official Tumblr feed that plans for the next two Minecraft patches have changed slightly. We can expect to see pistons added with the 1.7 update but we aren’t going to get adventure mode until 1.8 – and that might be quite a ways down the road from the sound of things.

OREO Cameos
As part of an art series called From Scratch, artist Judith G. Klausner carved a series of cameos out of OREO cookies. The level of detail here is pretty damn amazing.
