Larry Flynt Offers Casey Anthony $500,000 For Hustler Shoot
Larry Flynt says that he’s offered Casey Anthony, who was acquitted of murdering her daughter just a few weeks ago, $500,000 to pose nude for Hustler. It’s doubtful that she’s going to accept the deal, of course, but the offer is on the table.

Origin Summer Sale
EA just launched their first big sale on the new Origin platform. You can get a lot of great games for dirt cheap. Most of them are priced at $4.99. That includes Mirror’s Edge and Bad Company 2 – plus the Vietnam expansion.
I would also recommend the Burnout Paradise collection and SimCity 4.

Apple Has More Cash Than the United States

In short, Apple has more cash on hand than the United States has in its operating balance. Of course, there are several factors to consider when drawing such a comparison – but the simple fact that it can be drawn at all is scary.

Iwata to Take Pay Cut Over 3DS Sales
In a move that runs counter to everything you thought you knew about the benefits of being in charge of one of the world’s biggest video game companies, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata announced in Tokyo yesterday that he will take a 50% pay cut as a result of poor 3DS sales.
Iwata took home $1.8 million last year between base salary and bonuses.

Cop Pulling DARE Trailer Charged With DUI
A Seymour, Indiana police officer was arrested and charged with DUI after crashing a pickup truck into a parked car and then a tree – while towing a DARE trailer.
John Newcomb, 38, is (or was, rather) also the School Resource Officer at seven area schools near Salem, where the crash occurred.
