Steve Jobs Resigns As Apple CEO

Steve Jobs, the man who brought Apple back from the brink more than a decade ago, has resigned as CEO of the company. It’s been widely speculated that the man who gave us iOS and all of its related devices is (sadly) losing his fight with pancreatic cancer.

Tim Cook, who has served as the tech giant’s leader while Jobs has been on medical leave for the past six months, will take over. Jobs will remain attached to the company as Chairman of the board of directors and, hopefully, will continue to assist with innovation.

Yeah I can’t stand Apple either and I secretly hope Apple takes a nosedive after Job’s departure, but I actually feel sick to hear that his health might not be improving. That’s just not good news, son and I really hope he does recover.

I’ve never owned an Apple product, but that doesn’t change the fact that I respect the hell out of Steve Jobs. He knows how to run a damn company.

On a side note, no-one should have to suffer through Cancer. That sucks ass.
