Yankees Smash Three Grand Slams In One Game
Despite an 89 minute rain delay and a grueling total game time of 4 hours and 31 minutes, the New York Yankees became the first team in the history of Major League Baseball to rack up three Grand Slams in a single game against the Oakland Athletics.
The final score was 22 to 9. Say what you want about the Yankees – this is still impressive.

Buffett Invests $5 Billion In Bank of America
Less than two weeks after he said in a controversial New York Times op-ed piece that the government should “stop coddling the super-rich”, billionaire investor Warren Buffett made a surprise announcement today that his firm Berkshire Hathaway is throwing a whopping $5 billion in financial support behind the struggling Bank of America.
Bold move, Mr. Buffett. Bold move, indeed. I wonder if he was just waiting to see what would happen with that whole Wikileaks ordeal?
Vancouver Man Reprimanded For Hauling Fridge In Sedan
A man in Vancouver, British Columbia was reprimanded by authorities earlier this month for trying to haul a full size refrigerator in the trunk of his sedan. As you can see in the picture, he used ropes and the vehicle’s rear seatbelts to “secure” the fridge.
The police are using this as an opportunity to remind people not to do this sort of shit.

okAsshole
Love him or hate him, the man we know as Mr. Black has returned. Only this time, he’s not entertaining us with stories of his sexual escapades.
No, this time he’s on a mission; a mission to troll unsuspecting users across popular dating site okCupid. It’s crude, it’s immature, and it’s worthy of face-palming on several levels. But none of that will stop you from laughing, will it?
I present to you: okAsshole.

Super Monday Night Combat
Monday Night Combat is about to get a sequel. It’s caught somewhere between the original and a Defense of the Ancients style game. Looks interesting!

Blizzard Launches Diablo III Community Site
It looks like the Diablo III beta is just around the corner. Blizzard launched a community site for the game via Battle.net earlier today.
Blizzard community sites generally serve as an official hub for news and information, forums, and account management – and they don’t usually launch a new one unless a game is very close to release. Maybe we’re going to see Diablo III in 2011, after all.
