In a recent EDGE Magazine interview, Avalanche Studios founder Christofer Sundberg shared his views on the state of DRM in the video game industry. Sundberg, the man behind the brilliant Just Cause franchise, hit the nail on the head with this quote:
“If a DRM system constantly needs to be defended, something must be wrong. As a developer you will never win over any fans if you constantly let everyone know how much it costs to develop a game and how much money you lose.”
Someone needs to forward this link to all of the executives at EA, Ubisoft, and Activision.
