A casting call for film based on Orson Scott Card’s famous novel Ender’s Game has gone out according to a report from io9. All of the main characters from the book are represented in the project, which is being directed by Gavin Hood. Hood previously directed Wolverine.
This is one of those situations where the end result is either going to be an awesome work of cinematic science fiction or it’s going to cause die-hard fans to start making death threats.
Unless it has kids killing kids, and it’s done over a period of several years, it’s going to suck.
The director of Wolverine isn’t going to have the balls to make it the movie it should be.
This is going to be terrible. I can feel it.

Ya i think the movie is going to suck, but the book was just so good! does anyone have any suggestions on books that are similar to it? i read the other orson scott books but i did not like them as much, except for speaker for the dead.
