It was ten years ago today that Apple unveiled the iPod personal mp3 player. The first model was $399 and only compatible with Mac computers. It had a mere 5GB of storage.

No wireless. Less space than a Nomad. Lame.
Since then the iPod did not improve. And 10 years ago you could already buy an mp3 player with 20GB HD. In 2000 I bought such an mp3 player and still use it. The iPod my wife bought 5 years ago is already in the trash.
