I don’t care much for Microsoft’s products, but Gates himself is a hero. His foundation is so important.
Agreed. He’s done some amazing things.
I met him at the Live 8 gig in London. Prior to meeting him, I disliked him (lots), mostly based on the actions of Microsoft. After meeting him, I found I rather liked him. He’s a lot more down to Earth and honest than most of the hopefuls clawing their way to the top to be like him.
As he said in the link, “meaningful freedom”. I completely understand what he means by that.
