Someone at British brick and mortar video game shop GAME confirmed via Twitter today that EA is planning Need For Speed 13 and the next Medal of Honor game in 2012.
The tweet has since been taken down and EA “refuses to comment on rumor or speculation”. In other words, it’s all true. Not like this comes as a big surprise, anyway.
well MoH is kind of a surprise. hopefully we see a historical theater this time around, didnt really do much for anyone with the whole modern warfare thing.

Definitely no surprise indeed, but what I read from this “news” is that the retail is doing everything to get some attention. Putting games up for pre-order before they’re even officially announced, simply making up release dates, etc.
I know it sucks to be a retailer these days with digital distribution stealing all their sales, but being an asshole by jumping the gun isn’t exactly helping your own cause.
I would really love it if EA has the balls to respond to this by saying “Oh, you violate our NDA? Well fuck you then GAME, we will no longer ship our games to your store”.
